Just finishing up. My first reaction is that our Little Mo-Mo has grown up as an interviewer! She's managed to extract about as much candor and truth as possible out of Brent. Howard should sit at her feet and take lessons from her!
As far as Brent goes, the litmus test for "yes, that's true " was the equivalent of "I don't know" "it's not my business" etc. I'm reminded of a very snarky boss I had early on in my professional career who would not accept just any explanation: his response being "Although nicely shoveled, it's purely bullshit!"

I was thinking about this a while ago. It would be great to have @monique and this iteration of the RG gang re-interview a few people from when the podcast was still finding it's legs. Not that the interviews were bad, but some of the tech issues made it a bear to get through. And as you say, mo has a polish to her now.
Cumia comes to mind.

There’s no doubt he promised he wouldn’t talk in return for getting $. Would Sirius come and litigate to get the money back? Probably not. Is there likely a liquidated damages clause that says Bort owes money he doesn’t have to a company with lawyers he can’t afford if he talks? I’d bet a lot of money there is.
So, he can make us happy and talk shit and take on a big financial risk or...stfu. Expecting anything else is foolish and a waste of time IMO. That’s what he means when he says ‘honor,‘ he means he signed a contract and is abiding by it. That contract also says BRENT WAS NOT FIRED. That’s why he’s doing this. The end.

I am glad you said something. It struck me as quite odd that he pointed to the Catholic Church as the leader of the religious fanaticism in America in 2021.Not that they are perfect, far from it, but compared to the born-again Christian movement, is kind of Mundane. I mean that’s who was responsible for all that clear channel bullshit back in 04. Now the Catholic Church has their own serious problems and I will not defend them but Brent seems a little confused
No one doubts he was a Marine and he is universally thanked for that. As I recall, his story was he was serving on a helicopter and gunned down a hostile person or group of hostile people shooting at them from the ground.
there are some questioning that specific incident basically saying he probably did not serve as a door gunner on a helicopter. I have no idea myself and just let it go. I guess there is specific training and other things that don’t add up.
I know I have heard him specifically say he used to prep officers for meetings. Seemed weird.
This is probably very close to the reality of it. Also, if he ever says anything about Howard it will be on his own pod, not someone else’s.

The O&A world is actually 10 times more intricate and interesting than Stern. I know way too much about it, but I never tire of it. There are enough fools still making the rounds for it to be interesting.
Cumia didn’t want to be there for the first interview but he felt he had to pimp that pitiful network. I doubt he would ever do it again.
He did come off fairly likable but still full of shit at times, it was good. Is think as far as shuli coming on he is way to sensitive and protective of his “comedy” to ever be able to handle any small amount of criticism or questioning.

Manson said they had plans to collaborate on Twitch and that Brent ghosted him. Also said Brent is a master bullshitter. Brent never really said that he didn’t ghost Manson (in fact, his bullshit says that he did ghost Manson after he tried to claim that Manson was lying), then laid the blame on Donna (Manson’s wife). He told so many lies last night.
