:raisehand: Breaking: and you heard it here first!
its even money that Joey Bosa will be a 49er at low cost for them and he'll be a rotation piece and not an every down DT

Tim Kawakami
He joined The San Francisco Standard on September 13, 2024, together with fellow Athletic journalist David Lombardi.

I had money down on Darnold on staying with MN so this is a shocker to me :wut?: and he has no decent targets over there since they let go of Lockett and Metcalf. Its a total shit show in SEA and Darnold is totally going for a big money grab now because he knows he aint gettin it later!:biglol:

it does feel like he's betting against himself being able to play like he did first 15 games for Vikings last year.
No protection or targets for him in Seattle, it will be a hard long season for him, but at least he's rich.
If he believed in himself, he stays in Min, plays well again, makes 30 mil a year for 2 years, and then signs a free agent deal equal or likely better than what he got from Seattle.
But nobody knows Sam more than Sam, he probably knows it's all downhill from last season and might as well cash in now.

beautiful soup

Who me? I’m 6’10” pal!
I'm pretty happy with the Bears moves. It isn't sexy to build on offensive line but it makes the entire offense run, even with lesser skills position players

exactly!
:eyerolling:the 49ers and Shanahan let him go knowing full well what his capability was when he was a backup QB with the 49ers. I saw him play as a backup and when Purdy went down and Sam had to cover? Then he wasn't all that.
And I also saw him play some garbage time and Sam threw an interception at the red zone. :wut?: Not good.
The 49ers paid him for about the same amount that MN paid him and I think the Vikings got the best of Sam Darnold.
They knew this guy plateau'd and that its best to move on with their rookie and star QB.
p.s. and fun fact:
Sam Darnold was in the 2023 Superbowl and got an appearance ring for that year with the 49ers!.

Yes, while not for being in the Super Bowl specifically, Super Bowl losing teams do receive rings to recognize their conference championship win (either AFC or NFC), though they are not as elaborate as the winning team's "World Champion" rings

I like the Bills....tortured franchise, yeah.

Aside from the horrendous poopy Patriots, if I had to pick a favorite team it might be Bills

I have no problem with Buffalo. They just need to sacrifice a few virgins before they have a chance to win a Super Bowl. Same with Detroit.

Joey Boser:jj:

I guess the niners tender offer of $10M was not enough, even if it was playing with his brother :wut?:
this guy is just going for a money grab because I bet he won't play that much.
The niners was only going to use him a "switch" DE and not play every down.
Good luck Bills. :jj:
