I saw this huge bird on my wall and never seen a bird like this before in Las Vegas. I grabbed my camera w/ 200mm zoom lens and took some shots.

Ends up it was a hawk and was eating a smaller bird on top of my backyard wall. You can see the other birds feet

My 150-500mm broke (I took it apart, one of the gears was broken and Sigma told me they don't have those parts anymore...lens was at least 20 years old), so I bought a used Tamron 150-600mm lens. Super excited to use it. I know where a bald eagle hangs out near here. Might make that my first subject.
