Most re-watchable TV shows

I think it was @cah155 that mentioned it in another thread and it got me thinking about what the best shows on TV are that I've re-watched. I'm not counting sit-coms (like Taxi) because as great as they are, they're more something you have on in the background and not something you watch intently. Keep in mind I'm currently watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and I haven't seen the Wire

1. The Americans
2. The Shield
3. Hell on Wheels
4. Lost
5. 21 Jump Street
(Honorable mention: Justified)

The Americans a very under rated show. I am rewatching the Shield now

****rewatchability to me means something you can put on a random episode in the background for "vibes", if that makes sense....i dont really want to watch shows like The Wire 50 times because it seems really bad for mental health even though i love that show for example****

I hate to have to admit this, but I think I'm tapped out. Everything sucks now. All the old stuff retroactively sucks because of how everything new sucks because everything new is just a shittier version of the old stuff. I don't see why they can't make a show based on Rachel Dolezal's days as an NAACP chapter president when she was successfully passing as black. I'd watch that. It would be funny to see the spunky secretary put together clues, like noticing Rachel's never late and doesn't use the N word, trying to figure out if she's really black. Maybe there's members that know she's white but keep it secret because she does a good job and throws pizza parties every Friday and all the other office politics that go along with non-profit work life.

That would be hilarious. They'll never do it because people would cry racism, somehow. That's the reason pretty much everything sucks now, film makers have to worry about offending people's snowflake sensibilities or they'll be drummed out of the business. Thankfully it wasn't always that way, or we wouldn't have great movies like Weird Science or Soul Man, but those days are gone :(

I always thought it was funny Rachel Dolezal won an election to become president of the chapter. It's not like she just tricked one person in HR and got the job. Any decent comedy writer could get at least 4 seasons out of that.

I'm going to have to negate what I said earlier. I still watch Baywatch. I keep it on in the background on mute, but nevertheless. I also watch MST3K and Portlandia.
