My 2 cents. I love Artie. He was great on the show and seems like a genuinely nice, caring guy.
But Artie is 100% full of shit 112% of the time.
Again, great job guys. Bravo.

- Artie is not clean or sober. If you have to get sober every 4 days, you're an active user.
- Artie is talking like David Bowie on the Dick Cavett show (as high as anyone ever on TV, talking a mile a minute and saying nothing.
- Artie desperately still wants Howard approval. That's why all the"Greatest radio show ever. Greatest creative genius ever" comments.
- Artie's big wish in life has always been to die like John Belushi or Chris Farley. He still takes pride in being a junkie. It's a shame because it won't end well.
Again, great job guys. Bravo.

There's soooo much that we didn't get to for a next time - like Nick DiPaolo/DIRECTV Show, Anthony Cumia, Colin Quinn, Johnny Depp interview, Steve Dahl/Dan Falato etc etc.
I was thinking of analogy for Artie's primacy in them claiming "The Greatest Radio of All Time" moniker. I liken loose-cannon Artie to the HSS - what Dennis Rodman was to the mid to late 90's Chicago Bulls. If Rodman isn't retrieving all of Jordan, Pippen, and Kukoc's misses, and/or playing 5 position lock-down defense - the Bulls aren't winning any of those post 1995 titles.
Same with Artie. There is no Sirius launch success without Artie's unique role and voice. I'm comparing Howard to Jordan, only in brand name, and ego.

I always thought it was bold and ballsy @monique was using her real name from the jump. Most people are terrified to use even a real nickname online. There are trolls - as well as even people on here - that probably won't use a fake name of a fake name from PaypalShed. On some level, I get it.
While I've let the @ARM persona envelop me. I just don't know who "John" is anymore. LOL
@ARM is my actual nickname though since I was 16.

Just listened to the Artie interview last night and I was wondering about Dan Falato. A couple of years ago when Artie was doing his podcast from his apartment, Dan was, supposedly, living with Artie. (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the interview. Artie has been so fucked up over the last few years I really didn't expect it to go that well.
"WTF is up with your nose?" I almost fell off my chair. Best interview question ever.
Sadly, there was no follow-up. The story of why Artie got punched in the face would probably be quite entertaining. But, I get it. You were lucky to get him to show up at all, don't want to push things too hard.
@monique and @ARM I've given you my kudos in a separate thread. Just wanted to share a few thoughts. So Scott had that GoFundMe campaign which netted him some money. And yet, Artie still decided to do a charity thing for him to raise MORE money? I'm a little unclear on why Scott needed both sources of income. And here is another theory: do you think Howie banished Scott because they found out he was one of the backstage snitches? Or was it simply because he had the audacity to do a campaign for money? So pathetic how we are the only country on earth that forces people into poverty when they get sick. And finally, can you please, PLEASE ask Artie next time about Wiggy's fucking hair? Artie said Wiggy distanced himself from the friendship after the pelican comment. But I think it was when Artie made a comment about his hair when he was talking about jumping in the pool to save Bianca.
